Francesco Andolfi

 

Francesco Andolfi is an Italian actor and playwright based in New York.

During his eight years of work in the city, the most memorable among the roles he has played are: Messer Nicia in The Mandrake with KIT, protagonist in Beats me (Boh) at the Fringe in Rome, Dorian Gray in The Portrait of Dorian Gray at the Workshop Theater, Ajax in Drones in the Planet Connections festival, Casper in Clover at the LaMaMa, Trovatore in Troubadour Struck by Lightning at the Fringe in New York. His Off-Broadway credits include: Oreste in Iphigenia in Tauride at Theater Row, Creon in Antigone at the Queens Theater and the world premiere of Lovesong Imperfect by Jose 'rivera at 14th St Y. His show Di treni ed eroi  made its debut in Rome at the Lo Spazio theater. Won Oustanding Lead Actor Award from Planet Connections Festivity and received two nominations for Best Playwright and Best Reading of a Theatrical Text for his DIFESA.
